Depending on how golden your skin is I’d avoid colors like blue, pale pink, and brightly colored greens. Purple always looks good. If you use eyeliner, line only the top lid since trying to line your eye all around can make it look really small.
My own personal opinion and style is to use nude colors of make up and play up either the eyes or the lips.
