you're right not washing your hair everyday is good for the hair but as us asians encounter it gets really oily just after one day. when you wash your hair only use shampoo near your scalp and roots don't wash your ends. when you condition only condition the ends and that will keep them from getting too dry. also use cold water when conditioning. it closes the pores in your scalp and reduces the amount of oil that excrete during the day. use a good oil reducing shampoo like garnier fructis or suave(i know its cheap but it works). dove, pantene, and sunsilk is not good for asian hair.
really dove and pantene isn't that great for any hair unless you have stick straight white girl hair.
