Any tips for Asian hair?
I'm Korean and I would like to take care of my hair without spending $$$ at the salon for hair treatments. Does anyone know how to take care of Asian hair? Keep is hydrated? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I have the same type of hair (thick and dry)… my cousin who happens to be a hairstylist used "Redkin's" smoothing shine serum to keep it hydrated and you can also style and scrunch it into a wavy look if you want. You may also would want to "air dry" rather than blow drying so that your hair won't lose moisture.
I guess any type of hair serum can keep your hair hydrated…. also heard it's good for Asian hair. I'm currently using a different brand because unfortunately they don't sell those where I live… and I guess it works just fine but I personally think Redkin is best I've tried so far. A bit pricey but it works.
I used to use Herbal's essence smoothing cream (green tube) that works best if you're lookin' for a lower price range. Can keep your hair hydrated for a long time and won't dry out as much as other brands… but it seems like they don't sell or make those anymore.
Also like to add that using a moisturing shampoo and conditioner can help as well, and you'll get better results while adding other hair products to your hair.
